Actually, the new formation is a development of the predecessor Longyear Diamond Technics that has been domiciled at the Celle site since 1963. So the LONGDIA GmbH has been continuing diamond tool technology for more than 40 years. More than ever: Worth appreciable we belong to the pioneers of this application in Europe. Early on the beginning of the 70s at the Technical University of construction engineering and structural and civil engineering in Brunswick a study of profitability of this technology was published by Prof. Dr. Dipl.-Ing Klaus Simons. The study is entitled “Recessing And Coring Concrete”. Longyear supported and accompanied this study. Since the first scientific publication decades has passed and the technology succeeded and has been continuously developed. Longyear itself has contributed various patents recently. The LONGDIA GmbH continuously uses and improves Know-How on a basis of contractual agreements to the prosperity of our business partners. The success of all improvements is based on the partnership of our customers. New challenging tasks occurred and will occur so that we will have to find common solutions with our customers. Therefore the acquired responsibility (competence) was and is at our customers´disposal. The LONGDIA GmbH cultivates the tradition of this partnership and will keep it on in future. An absolute necessity of all entrepreneurial processes is our quality commitment. Since 1994 a successful certification to DIN ISO 9001 : 2000 has been an essential expression of our efforts.
